The Second Ammendment

Moving the stand from quadrat to quadrat caused it to became a little tweaked by the end. A third support leg will need to be attached to keep the camera in position... as well as a spike to prevent the stand from sliding.

The stand performed pretty well on its initial test run.

Stand in the Place Where You Live

Yesterday I designed, attempted to assemble... cutting my thumb, then redesigned a new stand for photographing groundcover. The design is really simple, but it will be much easier to wield on the hillside than the original wooden tripod. Depending on how it performs I may add a third support in back for stability. A 1/4" 20 thread eye bolt and some vinyl pads hold the camera in place. The setup cost under 10 bucks.
